I want to help you make sense of what’s happening and move toward the change you’re longing for—finding more peace within yourself and closer connections with the people you care about.

A bit more about Couples Counseling with me
Many couples come to therapy because they feel stuck in patterns of conflict and poor communication. This can show up in different ways—like criticism, name-calling, avoiding tough conversations, or dealing with the fallout from an emotional or physical affair.
Underneath it all, what most couples want is the same: to reconnect, to feel close again, and to restore peace in their relationship.
In our work together, I’ll help you make sense of where you’re getting stuck and guide you in channeling your energy and passion into rediscovering love, rebuilding trust, and strengthening communication.
My approach to couples therapy is rooted in the Gottman Method—one of the most respected, research-based approaches for helping couples heal, grow, and thrive together.
A bit more about Individual Counseling for Men
Anxiety and low mood don’t always look like tears and hand-wringing. In men, it often shows up as irritability and being short with loved ones, self-doubt and fear of failing, headaches or sleep disturbance.
Yet even when these struggles are present, men often feel pressure to keep it all inside. Talking openly can feel risky—like they’ll be judged, or seen as weak for not handling everything on their own. That weight of shame can make it even harder to reach out for support.
But here’s the truth: struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing—it simply means you’re human.
In tackling men’s issues in counseling, I offer you a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your story, understand what’s holding you back, and discover new ways of moving forward.
I bring both compassion and practical, research-based approaches to therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs.
In therapy, I give men a place to figure things out—whether that’s improving relationships, making confident career moves, working through tough emotions, or finding direction for the future.
I also offer Counseling for Teens (14 and up)
Being a teenager today is tough.
Your teen might feel misunderstood, withdrawn, or overwhelmed by the ups and downs of adolescence and social pressures.
As a parent, you want to help, but don’t always know how.
I spent years serving in youth ministry, walking alongside young people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Through my experience, I learned that teens often need a safe place to talk honestly, to be heard, and to know they aren’t alone.
I love creating that safe space for teens— a place where they can open up, gain new tools, and build hope for their future.
Why Choose Me as Your Therapist?
A few things have shaped me into the therapist that I am becoming…
- Growth through pain in my personal life has helped me to see hope in difficult seasons and build on my compassion for people.
- My past education and work in ministry leadership have taught me much about people.
- I am completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest University and continue to train in research-based therapies, so I can help you meet your goals.
Most of all, I care deeply about helping you find hope and healing. I believe your story matters, and that your relationships are worth restoring.
A Bit About Me
Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my wife and our young daughters—whether we’re cooking, gardening, or tackling a house project together.
I also enjoy reading and writing, and I sometimes use creative and narrative practices in therapy for clients who connect with storytelling and expression.
Taking the First Step Toward Counseling
Starting counseling takes courage. It’s hard to open up to someone about the things you feel most vulnerable about. I’ve been there.
The good news is that even a small step, such as scheduling your initial appointment, can lead to big changes. The rewards of moving toward a better place in life are worth it.
I would be honored to meet you and walk alongside you on your journey.
