I feel blessed to have found my passion in life which is helping families overcome obstacles that prevent them from having more satisfying and rewarding life experiences. I enjoy being part of the positive impact that stable and emotionally enriching relationships have on families and communities.
My persistent curiosity about how to help people live more fulfilling lives has led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Warner Pacific College in Human Development, a Master’s degree from George Fox University in Marriage and Family Therapy, and obtain my WA state license as a marriage and family therapist (LF00002109).
Since 2001, I have had the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills to counseling children, adolescents, and families at a community mental health agency, juvenile detention center, and various school systems. My work there focused on providing comprehensive support services in the areas of emotional problems and recovery from trauma related to sexual assault and violence. I have worked closely with primary care physicians, teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, probation officers and other professionals while working with families.
Being fully bilingual in English and Russian, I have provided support and counseled families who have adopted Russian-speaking children from the Former Soviet Union. In addition, I have used my counseling skills in a variety of Christian ministries. I currently serve in the children’s and women's ministry at my church.

I believe the marriage relationship is a power source for the family. Families are in trouble because of the relational issues between couples. I am honored to be able to assist couples as they work through communication and personal challenges that block them from having a positive and satisfying relationship with each other, their families and their extended community.
My own life experiences instilled a desire in my heart to be able to help others who were experiencing relational turmoil. This passion and dream led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Warner Pacific College in Human Development and a Master’s degree from George Fox University in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Life seems to happen in ways that distort and destroy the dreams we once had visualized for ourselves. I now have the privilege to apply my life knowledge and skills to counseling individuals, couples and families who find themselves working through the consequences of dysfunctional communication patterns, addictions, sexual indiscretions and affairs, and other life disappointments.
I also use my counseling skills in a variety of Christian ministries, including Stephen Ministries and weight management. A parent and grandparent myself, I love having the opportunity to assist others in finding the fulfillment and the happiness they desire in their own relationships.
